LA Black Worker Center
The Los Angeles Black Worker Center (LABWC) has been at the forefront of the racial justice and worker rights movements in LA since 2011. The LABWC is recognized as a national leader in the effort to address the challenges of the Black jobs crisis of unemployment and underemployment, and the growing inequity in the labor market. The LABWC makes a difference in the lives of Black workers and the families that rely on them through a comprehensive approach of leadership development; worker organizing; innovative policy advocacy; strategic research; coalition-building; and direct action campaigns. The LABWC is a project of Community Partners.
